ABOUT MAHESH SALUNKHE
Mahesh Salunkhe has graduated from the Arts faculty. His business association has started his career growth as far back as 26 years. He has developed the core competency in liaison with various businesses, financial institutions, corporates, MNCs, Government departments, bureaucrats, regulatory Authorities, local and district level administrative authorities, etc. Because of his high-level contacts, he could liaison with various authorities in order to solve the problems and issues of manufacturing industries, SMEs, and other institutions, seamlessly. He has recommended and suggested various policy matters to the banking sector, State and Central Governments, Ministries of MSME, Finance, Commerce, and various departments, relating to manufacturing, export finance, imports, etc. Because of this, many policy changes have been brought out and implemented in the SME sector to benefit the business communities.
Mahesh Salunkhe is one of the Directors of the SME Chamber of India, Maharashtra Industry Development Association, Gujarat Industry Development Association , Federation of Indian SME Associations, and Macro Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd. Being a working director on the Boards of these organizations, he has been actively involved in the day-to-day activities of the organizations in helping the members as well as nonmembers of these organizations. He has been hand-holding and imparting genuine knowledge to these organizations in channelizing their business activities both in core and non-core sectors.
He is a subject matter expert in advising and assisting Small and Medium Industries for channelizing Debt finance, Business Planning and Financial Modeling, Financial Management, general insurance, SME – Corporate and financial strategies, Capital projects consulting Strategy, CFO Advisory Services, Business Performance Management (BPM) solutions, Preparation of project reports & financial documents, Product profitability analysis, Working Capital and Short Term Financing, Enhancement in Working Capital Facilities, Substitution of high-cost debts with low-cost debts, etc. He looks after the development of manufacturing and service sector Industries, Infrastructure, finance, realty, power, IT, co-operative, and other businesses.
He is also advising, assisting and supporting the manufacturing industries, export businesses, financial sector, import, logistic support through supply chain management, technology up-gradation and identifying opportunities for investments, international business, technology transfer, joint ventures, contract manufacturing tie-ups, franchise, collaborations, tourism Promotion and other emerging business opportunities in the State and national levels.
He has extensively traveled to Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Hong Kong, China, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Bahrain, UAE, South Africa, South Korea, Japan, Oman, Mauritius, France, Belgium, Bulgaria, and Saudi Arabia for the business promotion of SME Sector for attending high-level business meetings & conferences, exhibitions at international levels. He has organized various events, conferences, seminars, and summits due to his expertise in the fields under the banner of SME Chamber of India. He has successfully executed more than 20 international level conferences, more than 500 National level Conferences in India and abroad as well as more than 600 Seminars, Workshops, and Training Programs, both physical and virtual. Apart from these activities, he has also taken a keen interest in imparting business knowledge to the SME sector and industries, both on individual and collective levels. Because of his far-reaching capacity, he has also visited many business and manufacturing units to evaluate their capacity, capability, and business acumen. He has been associated with the Chamber and Associations for the last 26 years. His long association with the business community has put him on a higher scale of experience and knowledge in the said sector.
